Current Group Members
Merry is a second year Ph.D student working on segmenting osteoarthritic knee MRIs. Merry is a big sports fan, and loves music and reading.
Grayson is a Ph.D. student who joined the group in Fall 2014, defecting from physics after completing both a B.S. and Master’s degree. His research interests lie in sodium imaging and using methods such as compressed sensing and parallel imaging to speedup image acquisition. When not doing research, Grayson enjoys spending time in the outdoors, practicing his photography skills, keeping up on the latest news in science and technology, and going curling with his wife Amber.
Forrest is an undergraduate student majoring in piano performance. He started in the biomedical imaging research group in January of 2015. He is currently working on validation of the qDESS sequence. Forrest plans to attend medical school in the fall of 2016.
Michael Mendoza is a Masters student.
Laurel is a masters student who joined the group in Fall 2016.
Nicholas is a senior in Electrical Engineering and joined the group Fall of 2016. He is a marching music enthusiast, loves traveling and learning about the world, and is a big fan of the hit children's show Phineas and Ferb. He hopes to build many worthwhile -inators for the group.
Logan is an undergraduate student majoring in Computer Engineering; he joined the Biomedical Imaging Research Group in Spring 2017. His interests include biomedical engineering, electronics, and computer science. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, listening to music, and relaxing. He also enjoys learning and wants to use his knowledge to make the world a better place.
Clint is an undergraduate student majoring in Computer Engineering; he joined the Biomedical Imaging Research Group in Fall 2016 and plans to graduate spring of 2019. His interests include biomedical engineering, robotics, composite manufacturing, and computer science.
