       The Biomedical Imaging Research Lab at BYU is composed of both undergraduate and graduate researchers led by professor Neal K. Bangerter. The group focuses on cutting edge developments in MRI, with particular attention to the emerging field of sodium MRI. Our goal is to improve the diagnostic capabilities of magnetic resonance imaging in a variety of ways through signal processing and hardware innovations.
